Algomed® Chlorella B12 | What's behind it

Algomed® Chlorella B12 is our chlorella from Klötze, for which, through an elaborate selection process, we pick the few harvests that have an exceptionally high content of natural vitamin B12.

Its content in our Algomed® Chlorella B12 is typically more than twice as high compared to our classic Algomed® Chlorella. In addition, we were able to have the composition of cobalamins in our product analyzed for the first time with the help of extensive tests.   

The total vitamin B-12 content is 210 µg/100g and is composed on average as follows: 76% adenosylcobalamin, 14% methylcobalamin (both vitamin-active) and 10% hydroxocobalamin (converted by the body into the vitamin-active form).

The recommended daily dose of vitamin B12 in the European Union is currently 2.5 µg. This means that just four Algomed® Chlorella B12 tablets can cover the complete daily requirement of vitamin B12, and that naturally, purely plant-based, demonstrably bioavailable and without additives, simply based on our specially selected Chlorella.

The monthly pack Algomed® Chlorella B12  contains approx. 120 tablets (36g). We recommend taking 2 x 2 tablets daily with sufficient liquid. Our tablets have a diameter of approximately 9 mm and a weight of 300mg.
